Pete and Repeat

April 19th, 2009

We know this guy who, nearly every time we see him, tells us the same stories. Over and over. Again and again. He loves his stories. He really gets into it, recreating every moment of the event he describes, at length, and in excruciating detail, almost word-for-word, the same as the last 999 times we’ve heard it.

We’re guessing that @scareykatt does the same thing to her friends. Why? Because ScareyKatt really loves her tweets, and wants to make sure no one misses a single word.

She’s set up all her social networks to update each other to make sure that when she posts something, everyone knows, no matter where they are. Twitter sends her status to FriendFeed. FriendFeed then sends the tweet back to twitter, and to Tumblr and Bright Kite. Tumblr sends it back to twitter. Bright Kite updates Plurk and Facebook. Facebook sends it to Ping.Fm, which updates all her social networks, so that they can keep those tweets alive forever.

Really, when you read a great tweet like “i will finish the tuna helper tomorrow for lunch,” once just isn’t enough. “Tomorrow morning, i need to do some groceries shopping. i did not went today,” just gets better each time you read it. And “desperate housewives is not that interesting tonight,” is a story you just can’t keep to yourself.

Milan Kundera, the Czech novelist, said, “Happiness is the longing for repetition.” We think ScareyKatt must be very happy.

    stinginthetail,

I saw your replied to me on tweetdeck.

it does not matter to me about twitterrfail.

Some people does NOT understand me.

Therefore, I have to “repeat” myself.

    ROFL

Besides, millions of people use twitter; most people will miss it in the timeline!

I don’t care if people DOES NOT follow me either because of my deformed pussy pic.

In closing, they don’t have to listen me.

Just block me and be done with it!

Message ends, and there we have a simply epic fail. She doesn’t seem to get anything… not where the comment came from, why she’s on here, that nobody in their right mind will ever follow her, because they’ll lose all other posts in her avalanche of wank – or that her ‘deformed pussy’ is actually a nostril.

This really is a case of being too stupid to find her own twat with both hands and a webcam.

Only sane thing she said was the last line – but what’s with these morons who don’t understand that clogging the tweetstream with their dribble, repeated over and over, is one of the reasons we get the Fail Whale?

Keep up the good work :)
